Reserve Bank of India (RBI) publishes the list of bank holidays every month for the convenience of customers. In this list, the holidays are determined according to the festivals and major anniversaries of each state. Talking about the month of June, apart from Saturday and Sunday, banks will be closed in many states due to Rath Yatra, Garfi Puja and Eid-ul-Azha. June 10, 2023 – Bank Holiday due to Second Saturday
11th June, 2023 – Bank Holiday due to Sunday
June 15, 2023- Banks will remain closed in Mizoram and Odisha due to Raja Sankranti
June 18, 2023- Banks will be closed on Sundays
June 20, 2023- Banks will remain closed in Odisha due to Rath Yatra

June 25, 2023 – Banks across the country will be closed on Sunday
June 26, 2023- Banks will be closed in Tripura due to Kharchi Puja
June 28, 2023- Banks will remain closed in Kerala, Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir due to Eid-ul-Azha
June 29, 2023- Banks will remain closed in remaining states on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha
June 30, 2023- Rima Eid-ul-Azha Banks will be closed in Mizoram, Odisha

Bank Holidays List in 2023: As per Reserve Bank Of India(RBI) rules, a bank holiday is determined on three factors. ‘Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act’, ‘Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holidays’. There is also ‘Banks Closing of Accounts’. All bank holidays in the country may not coincide. In many cases, bank employees have holidays based on state festivals. However, ATMs and digital services of banks will remain operational.
