The most affected areas have been Alcobendas, San Sebastián de los Reyes and the Corredor del Henares. The interventions have been fundamentally related to roadway flooding and tree damage by hail storms, without significant personal or material damage.

The Community of Madrid has activated the orange level in the sierra, where an accumulated precipitation of 80 liters per square meter, locally 100 liters, is expected in 12 hours; in the rest of the region the yellow alert is active (risk) due to storms, sometimes with hail, and due to rains that will leave between 40 and 50 liters in 12 hours.

Madrid City Council has activated the Municipal Flood Action Plan (Painunam), in its initial alert and monitoring phase, due to the warning of heavy rains and storms until this Friday afternoon.
