Jharkhand Crime News: Police recovered the dead body of Soni Kumari alias Sonali, 24-year-old daughter of Sunil Kumar, resident of Dhab Road, Domchanch police station area under Koderma district, from a stone quarry late on Sunday night. Meanwhile, on Monday, the police arrested two accused while disclosing the entire murder case. For refusing to marry Sonali in one-sided love, Divyang Deepak, along with his friends, gave her a betel nut of Rs 1.5 lakh. Arrest of two accused

The arrested accused include Deepak Sao, father of Narayan Sao, resident of Mahthadih and Rohit Kumar Mehta, father of Nandlal Mehta, resident of Simaria Domchanch. In this case, the police have recovered the vehicle used in the incident, Rs 34 thousand 500 in cash, three mobiles, mobile charging cable used for strangulation, plastic bag and the cloth of the deceased.

Talking to reporters in the police station premises, SDPO Praveen Pushkar said that Sonali Kumari had gone missing on March 21, 2023. After the incident, the father informed the police about the matter, then the investigation was started. Meanwhile, on March 24, the father gave an application and expressed suspicion on four youths, Santosh Mehta resident of Masnodih, Sanjay Mehta resident of Navdiha Khemandih, Bharat alias Karu resident of Manjhalitand and Rohit Mehta resident of Simaria, of kidnapping and killing his daughter.

The former MLA said that all the criminals involved in the Soni murder case should be given the harshest punishment at the earliest. He demanded Rs 20 lakh compensation from the government and government job to one person.
