Fruit of the work of the young curator Adele Arcadias, this experience invites the public to reconsider an element that brings us all together but which nevertheless remains hidden: the body. Through various works of the material, the spectator can apprehend at his own pace this encounter with one’s own taboos : aging, surgery, trans-identity etc.

It thus welcomes the sculptor Emmanuel Alloy, the queer activist photographer Oceane Feld, the painter Pauline Seïne, the tattoo artists El Bent and Emilie David-Ink, and the performer Jean-Marc Baglione.

The latter will offer a whole program ofevents – live performances, work in progress, guided tours, meetings with the artists, tattooing in the gallery – to invite visitors to apprehend differently the creative process of a work!

Oceane Feld is a young queer photographer. His film work is a call to benevolence and acceptance of all bodies. With her gentle gaze on herself and the others, Oceane leads us to reconsider what is beauty and what is the norm.

For several years, Emmanuel Alloy has been working on the material in his paintings and his
sculptures. Going from a pictorial abstraction to a realism of earth and bronze imbued with strangeness.
His busts strike us with the still fresh trace of the sculptor who makes the earth come alive before our eyes.

Pauline Seine :
Pauline Seïne was born in Korea, she grew up there and learned many artistic techniques.
In France at the age of 11, she adapts and calmly continues her artistic journey. Until
arrive at 59 rue de Rivoli. Today as a freelancer, Pauline Seïne allows herself, with a fine
line of Indian ink to sketch unappetizing bodies. She takes away the layers that we
make it possible to forget the existence of these pulpits that life deteriorates.

Jean-Marc Baglione Decorator by training and profession, Jean-Marc Baglione explores in his artistic practice the question of the degeneration of bodies. He works the plaster and latex in a stinging way, questioning the adaptation of bodies to their environment. “We are all mutants.” With his combinations, he performs the strange and the post-humanity.

Tattoo artist seasoned by the years, El Bent is very recognizable by a style combining thickness of the line and finesse of the composition. Reminiscent of the patterns of kings, queens and jacks of playing cards play, or taking up the compositions of traditional Asian animal designs.

Emilie David-Ink – https://www.instagram.com/emiliedavid_ink/
Tattoo artist specialized in the fine line, Emilie David likes to bring in her projects like those others of vitality and movement.
